Garden Prep Pointers:
*Select full sun location you can designate to Horseradish for a long period of time.
*Till soil thoroughly, mix in about 3 lbs of 15-15-15 per 100 sq. ft., or organic fertilizer (amount specified on package).
Planting Season:
*Plant outside May 1st – June 1st (First week in May is best)
Plant Selection Tips:
*Dormant bare root plants are best, but young plants in gallon containers would work well too.
Planting Guide:
*Plant 12" apart 3-4 ft between rows if you have that many
*Plant at 45° angle with flat end facing up

*Flat end should be about 1” below soil surface

*Water often, establishing your crop the first year is crucial.

*Harvest plants the second Fall after planting, if not harvesting, divide clumps of plants up and replant in new location.
